MooseFM has received reports of people taking money from others, pretending they are collecting for the Disaster Relief Fund.      OPP Constable Mark Depatie recommends making your donations in person at the legitimate business and financial institution locations.  
The OPP reminds Elliot Lake residents that even in this time of giving and caring, it is important to protect yourself against scammers.
