Moose FM CKLP 103.3 - Parry Sound

Military soldiers may be seen in our area starting tonight.  Operation Spartan Bear will be travelling through Parry Sound and area from CFB Petawawa to a military training centre in Meaford.  Captain Mark Timms of 2 Canadian Mechanized Brigade Group spoke to council at last night's meeting and he outlined some things the public might see over the next couple of weeks including traffic control points.

Between 400 and 500 vehicles and about 2000 soldiers are expected to be passing through our community.
