Police say the students were walking to school Tuesday morning, when they noticed a man driving a black truck with tinted windows following them. The students went into the nearest variety store and stayed until they felt it was safe enough to continue walking. But they were again followed by the truck in the Morrell and Robert Streets area. The man is described as 30 to 40-years-old with dark skin. He was reportedly wearing dark clothes in both cases. If you have any information, call police.

A new smoke-free policy at Wind-Del Park aims to give residents the ability to play, love and be tobacco-free. The Optimist Club of Windham and District created the policy that forbids players, spectators, coaches, officials and organizers to use any tobacco product, including smokeless tobacco. President Lisa Gilbert says it sets a good example and will help kids be the best they can be. The Haldimand-Norfolk Health Unit helped the club in their efforts by giving them a grant to help buy and install signs that remind park goers of the new policy.
