Moose FM CKAP 100.9 - Kapuskasing

St. Patrick’s Day is March 17^th but the Hearst Legion will have a St. Patrick’s Day tea and bake sale on Sunday. It will be from 1 to 4pm in the Legion Hall in Hearst.  

The Smooth Rock Falls Conservation Club is holding their 11^th Annual Ice Fishing Derby on Sunday March 21^st. It will be held on Ouellette Lake, on Indian Lake Road turn right at the Conservation Club. Registration will be held from 8.30am to 3.00pm. Costs for members is $10.00 for individuals and $20.00 for a family. For non-members the cost is $15.00 for individuals and $25.00 for a family. This is a catch and release only fish derby. There are prizes for pickerel, pike and perch. There will be other prizes drawn throughout the day. Lunch and goodies will be available throughout the day and fishing  starts at 9.00am.
