High levels of E.coli have made the Old Mill beach in Blind River unsafe for swimming.  Algoma Public Health says the bacteria level in the water exceeds acceptable limits.  Swimming at the site could cause ear infections in kids and other water borne diseases for adults especially if the water is ingested.  The health unit will lift the advisory at the Old Mill beach once it’s safe again for swimming.
