Timmins Food Bank wins in Timmins Tornadoes Exhibition game

E-mail Print PDF

The Timmins Tornadoes U12 Provincial Team exhibition game has been a huge success! The Tornadoes looked sharp in their new uniforms and a good crowd was in attendance. The Food bank representative Rick Young was also at the game to retrieve the load of non-perishables raised during the event. The crowd witnessed an excellent ringette game. The score after the first period was tied at 3-3. But in the second period, the Tornadoes pulled away from the Rehab Plus selects to take the game 7-4. The real winners for the evening were the Food Bank and its clients, who have received a large contribution to their food stocks in this time of need.

The Tornadoes would like to thank all the volunteers, parents, officials, and Rehab Plus Selects players for making this game a success.
