Boaters are being asked to exercise caution and watch for others using the waterways around Timmins. Provincial Police have received a number of complaints from kayakers and canoeists that drivers of boats and jet skis were intimidating them on the water. Police remind drivers that such inconsiderate actions carry the possibility of being charged, even criminally so. And injured persons have the right to take legal action against the wrongdoer.
