They’ve always worked together, but today a more effective agreement is being signed between the Provincial Police and the Nishnawbe-Aski First Nation Police Service. OPP Chief Superintendant Joffre Dupuis and NAPS Chief Claude Chum are meeting in Cochrane this afternoon to sign an improved working agreement in keeping with First Nations values and traditions. The signing will ensure better policing and a better relationship between both organizations.
