Get ready for a major summer concert event, Timmins. On August 11th, three acts take to the stage at the Fred Salvador Park; an act out of Nebraska called Freakabout, Neverest featuring Timmins’ very own Brendan Colameco on drums and former Barenaked Ladies front-man, Steven Page. Promoter of BazPOP Production, Mike Bazuik says he wanted to do an event to bring the community together and it’s a sanctioned 100th Anniversary event.

Tickets for the event will be on sale from July 1st for $25 at many local businesses.

Tickets for the event will be available from the Shania Twain Centre, McIntyre Arena, www.ticketweb.cawww2.eventsonline.ca/site/home and other local businesses to be announced. Bazuik added talks are underway to get Tisdale Bus Lines as a shuttle for communities in the area. Bazuik says the concert is for all ages with a dedicated beer tent being set aside and sponsored by Molson. For more information and to get updates on the event connect with BazPop Productions Facebook page.
