Berry commendation Wallingford 30yrs Zurby 30yrs

Recognition has been given to members of the Timmins Police Service for their outstanding service. After 30 years of law enforcement in almost every field, the Police Services Board said goodbye to Staff Sergeant Martin Wallingford, who retires at the end of March.  Wallingford has received two medals for exemplary service from the Governor General of Canada. Additionally, Karin Zurby, a civilian, is also retiring having given 30 years of service as well. She has taken care of the records and administrative responsibilities among other duties during her tenure. Finally a commendation was given to a young dispatcher, Crystal Berry. In the course of her duties she went above and beyond her post as a dispatcher and exemplified the values of the Timmins Police Service in helping a citizen locate a missing pet. The Timmins Police and Police Services Board are thankful and appreciative of the outstanding contributions of the three.
