Olympics

Hits

Only days away, the Vancouver 2010 Winter Olympic opening ceremonies will kick off two weeks of sporting events.  I don’t know about you but I’m stoked.  I mean really stoked.  The opening ceremonies are always a lot of fun and reflect the host country quite a bit which is even better this time around.

What’s your favorite sport to watch during the Winter Olympics?  Email me at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it if you want to let me know what you’re excited about.  For me it has to be ski jumping.  I love hockey, speed skating and just about every single sport the Winter Olympics offer but there’s just something about these people flying off a track, through the air for a tenth of a kilometer that I find rather amazing.  Trust me, I’ll be glued to the television when ski jumping is on.  Will you?

Let's not forget luge and, even better, bobsleigh.  That's also another one of my favorites.  I'll be cheering on Pierre Lueders and his team when they take the track in the next couple weeks too.

Whatever sport you're cheering on, enjoy the next two weeks, because after that, it's another four years before the next Winter Olympics.
