The OPP are asking the public to be wary of door to door solicitors looking for donations to Haiti  Releif Funds. Last weekend  Bracebridge OPP were contacted regarding a suspicious person conducting door to door solicitation for the orphaned children of Haiti.  Investigation revealed that the canvasser didn’t present himself in a professional manner, including proper identification, information packages or even proper clothing for the very cold night.  The fact that he was soliciting funds after 9pm at night was most suspicious.

Police are still looking for the man. The O.P.P. remind the public that Canvassers utilizing this method of sales will have proper identification of their company or organizations including brochures and pamphlets
