The Junior A Trappers’ season has come to an end. The Soo Thunderbirds scored in OT, making it 4-3 over the Traps. Soo now heads to the semifinals Friday against St. Mike’s. The winner will play the Minnesota Wilderness for the Central Canada Junior A Hockey Championship Saturday at 7:00pm at the Gardens.

At the Dudley Hewitt Cup The Trappers fell to St. Mike's 5-2. The Traps are 1-1 at the tournament after two days of play.

The Trappers opened the Dudley-Hewitt Cup with a 4-1 win over Minnesota. In the other game St. Mike's beat the Soo Thunderbirds 4-2. Next in the tournament for the Trappers is Wednesday against St. Mike's at 7pm at Memorial Gardens.

 The North Bay Titans weren't able to win any medals at an international swimming event in Etobicoke on the weekend.  The best showings were three sixth place finishes for Megan Tom, Ryan Tom and Steve Cholette.  Megan was sixth in the 100 metre butterfly while Ryan came in sixth in the 50 metre butterfly as did Steve in the 50 metre breast stroke.

Dudley-Hewitt Cup kicks off Tuesday, April 30^th, for the Central Canada Junior A Championship. The Trappers, fresh off of winning the NOJHL title, face the Minnesota Wilderness at 7:00pm at Memorial Gardens.
