September 28th is the last trip for the Northlander. And both the union for the ONTC workers and the NDP believe the McGuinty Liberals have sped up the process to silence northern communities. Union head Brian Kelly says this is McGuinty’s way of telling the north we lost the fight to save Ontario Northland. But Kelly says the workers aren’t giving up. Also the union has learned that Ontera could be the first piece of business under the ONTC to be sold off.
