A Trout Creek woman is trying to stop a wind turbine from going up in her community.  Patricia Brown has organized a meeting to explain the dangers of wind turbines.  Powassan residents who oppose a wind turbine for their town will be there.  American-based Schneider Power wants to erect a turbine on Crown land.  Residents claim the low but constant noise from wind turbines cause health problems in people and pets.  The Trout Creek meeting August 14^th at the Community Centre and begins at 7:00 p.m.
