Rattler Found on Blind River Golf Course

E-mail Print PDF

Maybe it just wanted to play golf but on the weekend police removed a rattlesnake from the golf course in Blind River.  The snake was identified as a Massasauga Rattler and was returned to its natural habitat by the Ministry of Natural Resources.  Rattler sightings are rare.  The last report of a Massasauga Rattler in the Blind River region was 20 years.
