The Muskoka Hornets Peewee reps traveled to Whitby to compete in the Annual Peewee Father's Day baseball tournament over the weekend. Day one started with a 10-1 loss to Richmond Hill. But that didn’t phase the Hornets from nabbing a 3-2 win against a Quebec team in game two of round robin play. In the final round they took down the Spartans 15-7.

Unfortunately for the Hornets, Richmond Hill blew a lead against Quebec and lost setting up a three way tie with only two teams eligible to advance.

If you want curl in the upcoming season, The Parry Sound Curling Club is accepting early bird registrations. Today from 6:30pm to 8:30pm, all new and returning curlers can register at the club. If you can’t make it out today, you can register tomorrow from 9:00am until 8:30pm.

It’s a chance to come out and support lacrosse and get your car washed too. The Huntsville Bantam Hawks are hosting a Car Wash Fundraiser this Saturday at Festing Toyota from 11:00am until 2:00pm. Funds raised will go to support the team.

The Huntsville Hawks Novice/Pewee Tournament is scheduled for July 12^th to July 14^th at the Canada Summit Centre, not June 12^th as some publications have previously reported.
