Musicians Sought For G8

The G8 Summit isn't just for politicians. Musicians from Muskoka and Parry Sound are being asked to get involved. If you or your band can fill a 20-30 minute set, consider auditioning to open for the headliner at the International Youth Summit. Auditions are not limited to age, but you need to have at least one original song. Try-outs are next Friday afternoon in Huntsville. Pre-registration is required.

Here are the requirements to audition

-Must be a resident of Muskoka or Parry Sound

-Must bring proof of residence to audition

-Must be able to fill a 20-30 minute set

-Must have at least one original song

-Solo musicians or full bands of any age welcome

-Must be available to play the night of June 25 ^th (venue to be determined)

Audition details

-Friday, February 12 at the Algonquin Theatre 37 Main Street, Huntsville

3:00 p.m. - 8 p.m.

-perform at least one song and speak about yourself and/or your band
