Bracebridge OPP Investigating Suspicious Death

Hits

HUMAN REMAINS DISCOVERY. The OPP discovered human remains at a Merrick Drive address near Wood Lake Monday. They are calling the death "suspicious."

Police are investigating a suspicious death in Bracebridge. On Monday night OPP were called to a home on Merrick Drive near Wood Lake where human remains had been found. Police are not saying much but the remains have not been identified, nor are they saying whether they are male or female. A post mortem is scheduled for tomorrow in Toronto. At this point police are calling the death suspicious. OPP Constable Peter Leon says there is no connection between this death and the case of the missing body parts found in two locations in Muskoka in May. Those remains have been identified as belonging to 45-year old Morris Conte of Bolton, Ontario.
