Moose FM CFBG 99.5 - Muskoka

A horrific accident this afternoon off Fraserburg Road in Bracebridge. Police say two men at the Maple Lane Farms Equestrian Centre located at 1120 Fraserburg Road had been trying to level a cottage when it fell on them, killing them both. Emergency personnel arrived at the scene around 1:20 p.m. and struggled to get to the men by using axes and chainsaws. The building was said to have shifted on its supports. Pronounced dead at the scene are Maple Lane Farm’s owner Ken Randall and his father Bruce Randall. Police say the Ministry of Labour is also investigating.
