Kayaker Drowns in Lake in Haliburton

Another drowning, just outside of Muskoka. A Thornhill man is dead after the kayak he was in overturned in Lake Kashagawigamog in Haliburton. Police say he was out on the water, when his kayak overturned and he began yelling for help. A family member and nearby cottagers pulled him from the water and began CPR. Thirty-three-year-old Ayreh Aaron Wise was transported to hospital where he was pronounced dead. Haliburton OPP says he was not wearing a life jacket.
