Moose FM CFBG 99.5 - Muskoka

A Lake of Bays woman is dead following an early morning crash on Highway 117. Just after 4:00am Huntsville OPP were notified of a missing person traveling from the Midland area back to her residence near Baysville. Shortly afterwards they attended a motor vehicle collision on Muskoka Road #117 east of Baysville. It was determined the missing person and the driver of the pick up truck that hit a rock cut was one in the same. Forty-five-year-old Veronica Gray-Pitt succumbed to her injuries. A section of the road was closed for a short time while investigators determined the cause of the crash. The investigation is continuing.
